Biagio Mazza

Biagio Mazza is Pastoral Associate at St. Sabina’s Parish in Belton, Missouri coordinating and facilitating Adult Faith Formation. Biagio worked as Director of Religious Education for a number of parishes in the Archdiocese of New York.  Moving to Missouri, Biagio was a staff member of the Center for Pastoral Life and Ministry in the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph for over 17 years involved in ministry formation of adults.  Biagio is an author and contributor to various works on Scripture and the Sunday Readings.  Facilitating adult learning in scripture, church history, and theology are some of Biagio’s special interests, along with cooking, reading, and working late into the night.  He continues to be active in both Jewish-Christian and Muslim-Christian interaction and dialogue. Biagio Mazza has a master's degree in theology from Fordham University, Bronx, New York, with post graduate work at Maryknoll School of Theology, Maryknoll, New York.
