Paige Byrne Shortal, longtime contributor to Celebration, serves as coordinator and editor for the Daily Bread writers. Paige earned a bachelor’s degree in theology at Saint Louis University and a master’s in pastoral studies at Aquinas Institute of Theology. Her columns and articles have appeared in various Catholic publications, including Ministry and Liturgy; National Pastoral Musicians Magazine; National Catholic Reporter; Living Faith; and The Liguorian. She has also published pamphlets and one book, Live Lent at Home, which is also available in Spanish. Recently retired from forty years in parish ministry, she now blogs and scripts short videos at www.LifeAroundTheCorner.com and she is a
member of the board of One Child At a Time – www.OCATUSA.org, for which she will travel to Hyderabad, India to visit their sponsored children’s school. She lives in rural Missouri with her husband, Pat, three of their six children, and various dogs, cats, goats and chickens.
